Delivery Information, Data Protection and Consumer Rights

This section sets out the terms and conditions applicable to the shipment and delivery of orders placed through the Rüga online store, as well as the provisions relating to the protection of personal data and consumer rights, in accordance with current national and European legislation.

1. Geographic Scope of Deliveries

Products sold in the Rüga online store can be delivered to all countries in the European Union , unless expressly indicated otherwise and clearly identified on the product page or during the purchase process.

Orders will be delivered exclusively to the address indicated by the customer at the time of placing the order. Rüga is not responsible for delays, losses or inability to deliver resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information provided by the customer.

2. Order Processing and Shipping

After payment confirmation, the order will be processed by Rüga 's internal services and shipped within a maximum estimated time of up to 5 business days , except in duly justified exceptional circumstances.

This timeframe does not include weekends, national holidays or periods of temporary service interruption, nor any delays attributable to carriers, force majeure events or temporary stock shortages.

Under the law, if Rüga foresees that it will be impossible to meet the initially indicated delivery deadline, the customer will be informed and will be granted the right to terminate the contract, in accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation.

3. Delivery to the Consumer

Delivery is made by the selected carrier during normal business hours. If the recipient is not present, further delivery attempts may be made or a notification may be left for collection, in accordance with the carrier's rules.

An order is considered delivered when it is made available to the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, who then acquires physical possession of the goods.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are presented clearly and transparently before order completion, in accordance with the duty to inform stipulated in consumer protection legislation.

Mainland Portugal :

• Orders under €50 : shipping cost of €2.95

• Orders of €50 or more: free shipping

Rüga reserves the right to change shipping costs, with the conditions in effect on the date the order is placed always applying.

5. Cash on Delivery

In cases where the customer chooses the cash-on-delivery payment method, i.e., payment upon delivery of the order, a fixed additional fee of €2.00 will be applied, corresponding to the administrative and operational costs associated with this payment method.

The total order value, including taxes and additional costs, will always be presented to the consumer before final purchase confirmation.

6. Consumer Rights

Under the terms of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 , of February 14, the consumer has the right to freely terminate the contract , and may return the purchased products within the legal period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the order, without needing to indicate any reason, provided that the items are in perfect condition, without signs of use and in their original packaging.

7. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

As part of the purchase process, Rüga collects and processes personal data strictly necessary for order management, namely name, address, telephone number and email address.

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , guaranteeing confidentiality, security and exclusive use for legitimate purposes, such as order processing, invoicing, delivery and communication with the customer.

Personal data will not be used for purposes other than those provided without the express consent of the data subject, nor will it be transmitted to third parties, except when necessary for compliance with legal obligations or for the execution of the contract (namely carriers and payment entities).

The data subject has the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to object to the processing of their personal data, and may exercise these rights through the contacts provided in the online store.

8. Final Provisions

Rüga reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with the versions in effect on the date the order is placed always applying.

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may resort to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity, under the terms legally provided.
