Refund Terms

These Refund Terms govern the conditions applicable to exercising the right to a refund, returning products, and reimbursement of amounts for purchases made through the RÜGA online store, in accordance with the legislation applicable to e-commerce and consumer protection.

1. Exercising the Right to Reimbursement

To exercise the right to a refund, the customer must inform RÜGA within a maximum period of 14 consecutive days , starting from the date of receipt of the respective order.

Communication must be made in writing, through the contact methods provided on the website, clearly identifying the order and the items you wish to return.

2. Conditions for Accepting Returned Products

A refund will only be accepted if the returned products cumulatively meet the following conditions:

  • The product must be new , with no signs of use, washing, or wear;

  • The product must be complete , including all its components, labels, and accessories;

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging , in perfect condition.

The refund will only be processed if the products are in perfect condition .

Returned products will not be accepted:

  • Incomplete;

  • Damaged or spoiled;

  • Used or handled by the customer.

RÜGA reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions described above.

3. Costs Associated with Returns

In the event of a return, the shipping costs associated with sending back the returned products are entirely borne by the customer and are non-refundable.

RÜGA is not responsible for losses, damages or delays that occur during the return shipping process, and recommends sending via registered mail or equivalent method.

4. Refund Period

The refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 consecutive days , starting from the date the returned order is received at RÜGA 's facilities, after verification of the condition of the products.


Returns of items with promotional discounts

In cases where the customer returns an item that benefited from a promotional discount applied to the total order , the refund amount will be calculated as follows:

  • The value of the item will be refunded, less the proportional discount corresponding to that same item.

Additionally, if after the return of one or more items, the total order value becomes less than the minimum amount required to benefit from the promotional code used , RÜGA reserves the right to charge the customer the amount corresponding to the promotional benefit applied .

Illustrative Example

Promotional offer: €10 discount on purchases of €50 or more.

  1. The customer purchases two items at a unit price of €28 , totaling €56 ;

  2. By applying the promotional code, the customer only pays €46 ;

  3. If the customer returns one of the items, the refund will be calculated as follows:

    • €28 (value of the returned item)

    • - €10 (promotional discount incorrectly applied after the return)

    • Total to be refunded: €18 , since the final order value is now less than €50.


Procedure for Returning an Order

To make a return, the customer must strictly follow these steps:

1. Return Shipment

The return of the order must be made within a maximum of 15 working days , to the following address:

2. Required Documentation

The returned product must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice as proof of purchase.

3. Bank Details for Refund

In cases where a refund is due via bank transfer , the customer must provide their NIB/IBAN , sending this information by email to:

4. Refund via PayPal or Credit Card

When payment for an order has been made via PayPal or Credit Card , the refund will be processed automatically using the same payment method originally used for the purchase.


Final Provisions

RÜGA reserves the right to update or change these Refund Terms at any time, with the conditions in effect on the date the order is placed always applying.
